构建国际旅行者SDK,软件工具包net access into TV set-top boxes and other embedded systems, won the prestigious “Prix Fournisseur RTS” on Jan. 16 here at the Real-Time Systems Exhibition (RTS). Developed by QNX Software Systems Ltd. Inc. (QSSL), Voyager SDK competed against products from many other companies including Motorola, Integrated Systems, and Microtec. This is the second time a QSSL product has won the award. In 1996, the company took top honors for its embedded windowing system, Photon microGUI. Any product exhibited at RTS may be nominated for the award, and the show’s visitors then vote to decide the winner. With recent design wins in the U.S., Europe, and the Pacific Rim, QSSL states that Voyager SDK is fast becoming a worldwide standard for Internet appliances. New products based on this toolkit include “SurfTV,” a set-top box that France Telecom plans to use as its next-generation Minitel terminal.
