Inglewood, Calif.—一个新的基于web的生产力增强工具,梵tualSizer, is available to help analyze motion axes, size electric motors, and select mechanical components that make up a motion control system. Developed by Copperhill Technologies Corp. (Northampton, Mass.), VirtualSizer is intended for suppliers serving the motors, drives, and motion control markets.

The software allows a supplier’s personnel to more efficiently define and specify its best motor and drive products for a specific application based on customer data input. VirtualSizer operates at the customer’s web site. It is customized around the user’s products, database, and operator interface needs—look and feel. VirtualSizer software specifies motors, drives, linear translators, etc., from a customized product database. It provides a list of potential part numbers, highlighting the optimal product for the application. System analysis and expert advice are part of the capabilities.
