Servo motor family expands

Line of brushless rotary servo motors expands to include MPP092x, MPP100x, and MPP115x motors equipped with a resolver, standard 2,000-line incremental encoder, Heidenhain EnDat absolute encoder (single or multi-turn), or Stegmann Hiperface absolute encoders, which are to be released soon.

MPP motors are designed for demanding applications and feature low inertia and high power in a package smaller than that of conventional servo motors. They use segmented lamination technology, which can yield up to 40% higher torque per unit than conventionally wound servo motors. Lead time on the line has been reduced to 3 days. Applications include packaging, printing, semiconductor, and machine tool industries.www.parkermotion.comParker Electromechanical Automation
