Parker’s Electromechanical Automation Div.’s Compax3 family of industrial high-performance, all-digital servo drives now comes in four new high-current power levels.

Rohnert Park, CA —Four new high-current power levels have been added to Parker’s Electromechanical Automation Division ‘s Compax3 family of industrial high-performance, all-digital servo drives. Series is now available with up to 75 kW of output power to satisfy the demand for high- and low-power drives within the same family. Additional power levels are particularly applicable in the material forming, material handling and printing, and converting markets.

Four output currents are offered: 50, 90, 125, and 155 Amps RMS. All have an input voltage range of 350 to 528 V ac. The drives ability to control synchronous and asynchronous motors increases their flexibility.

作为他们的低Compax3驱动器具有相同的特性er-powered counterparts. Time- and cost-saving benefits include auto-tuning, internal function generators on all units, support for Stegmann single- and multi-turn absolute encoders to dispense with limit switches and homing routines, many control levels and industry-standard fieldbus protocols (including DeviceNet), to fit most applications.

Special software function modules are included for the torque/force control used in many material forming applications. These modules let the user switch from position control to torque/force control on the fly.

All Compax3 drives ship with ServoManager software for commissioning. The program provides diagnostic screens, graphical tuning utilities, an OS download tool, an s-curve acceleration calculator, and a motor configuration wizard for use with non-Parker motors. A video training tutorial is also available.
