Elau’s purpose-built PacDrive SH Series servo motors are backward compatible with other components of the company’s PacDrive automation system. Motors and cables are CE/cUL/UL certified.

迎合动态和环境要求of the latest generation mechatronic packaging machines, Elau (a Schneider Electric company) has introduced SH Series servo motors that feature salient-pole winding technology. “The new winding design results in a symmetric magnetic field distribution that eliminates magnetic interference on the rotors, resulting in up to 140% longer life. Motor length is reduced by 30%,” says Elau.

Part of Elau’s PacDrive family, SH Series servo motors are available with continuous holding torques from 0.5 to 90 Nm (144 Nm with fan-cooled version), in 55, 70, 100, 140, and 205-mm flange sizes. Barrel-type connectors, reportedly of equivalent quality to junction boxes, provide benefits of faster mounting, inherent protection against polarity reversing, IP67 protection (for connections), and easier motor replacement in the field.

Elau’s “smart nameplate technology” allows automatic configuration of these motors via an embedded chip readable by the servo drive. This feature simplifies motor startup and replacement, and it also lets the drive automatically adjust as needed to a motor with different characteristics. Other motor features and options include permanent magnet holding brake, IP65-rated shaft seal, IP67-rated barrier pressure system, external fan air cooling, water cooling, and single or multiturn sin/cos encoder.
