Software development solution for Power Architecture 405EZ embedded processor

Green Hills Software, Inc.has announced a software development solution for Applied Micro Circuit Corporation’s Power Architecture 405EZ embedded processor. With speeds of up to 400 MHz, a flexible on-chip and off-chip memory architecture, a combination of A dc, D ac, plus configurable Chameleon TimerPWM, and a diverse connectivity package, the 405EZ offers a low power and small footprint system-on-a-chip solution for a range of high performance, cost-constrained embedded applications. Components of the development toolkit include royalty-free RTOSes, optimizing C/C++ compilers for Power Architecture, MULTI integrated development environment (IDE), virtual prototyping platform, DoubleCheck integrated static analyzer, and high-speed hardware debug probes.
