USDATA replaces president and ceo, board chairman

USDATA Corp. announced on Oct. 29, 2002 that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of Robert Merry as president and ceo and board member effective immediately. The board has appointed James Fleet as interim president and ceo and board member. Mr. Fleet is a vp with Phoenix Management Services Inc.

Richardson, TX-USDATA Corp. announced on Oct. 29, 2002 that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of Robert Merry as president and ceo and board member effective immediately. The board has appointed James Fleet as interim president and ceo and board member. Mr. Fleet is a vp with Phoenix Management Services Inc. (Philadelphia, PA), a turnaround management firm. He previously served as USDATA’s interim cfo. USDATA also announced that Winston Churchill has resigned as its board chairman, though he will remain as a director. Mr. Churchill is being replaced as board chairman by Yaron Eitan, founder, president and ceo of Selway Partners LLC, a technology holding company.
