Thermal Energy, Siemens partner on energy, environmental solutions

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; Alpharetta, Ga. – Thermal Energy International Inc. announced April 10 that it has formed a strategic alliance with Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. to market integrated energy and environmental solutions to the U.S. pulp and paper industry.

The agreement reports that Siemens will offer energy recovery and air pollution control products and services from Thermal Energy within its larger industrial control and automation solutions for paper mills. Both firms say this collaboration is a response to increasing demand for advanced manufacturing processes coupled with improved efficiency, reduced energy consumption and cost-effective air pollution control.

Thermal Energy’s air pollution control and energy recovery product lines will complement and expand our capabilities. Thermal Energy has a fifteen-year history of developing and providing both unique and cost effective combined energy recovery and air pollution control technology solutions for a variety of industrial process applications. Most recently, Thermal Energy has been receiving increased interest from the pulp and paper industry to recover high value heat from multiple stack sources while reducing regulated air pollutant emissions.
