Speed sensor

Orem, Utah— DRS 1000 noncontact speed sensor uses Doppler radar technology to measure speeds of 1 to 300 mph with accuracy greater than 0.85%. The unit produces a digital pulse output proportional to speed (the total number of pulses is proportional to distance traveled). Powered by 12 V dc, the sensor is 2-in.

Orem, Utah—DRS 1000 noncontact speed sensor uses Doppler radar technology to measure speeds of 1 to 300 mph with accuracy greater than 0.85%. The unit produces a digital pulse output proportional to speed (the total number of pulses is proportional to distance traveled). Powered by 12 V dc, the sensor is 2-in. diameter by 4-in. long. Typical applications include vehicle ground speed during performance or crash testing, product speed on conveyors, and manufacturing process speed.
