Siemens buys Controlotron

Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. agreed to acquire the assets and business of Controlotron Corp. for an undisclosed amount.

Controlotron manufactures non-intrusive ultrasonic flow measurement devices. Siemens says it expects to operate the business from Controlotron’s Hauppauge, NY-location, and make it a center for ultrasonic flow measurement. Controlotron employs approximately 120 people.
