Sealmaster reduced maintenance bearings from Emerson Power Transmission have efficient lubricant circulation to eliminate the need for regular service intervals. Intended for inaccessible locations, the bearings feature a surface tapered in a radial direction toward the bearing race so that lubricant is redirected easily back to the raceway. The design and brass land riding retainer combine to provide improved lubricant circulation, the company says. Line offers three sealing options: felt seal with low drag to protect against dry, gritty contaminants; single-lip seal for balance between seal drag and wet contamination avoidance; and spring-loaded seal with heavy drag that makes it suited for heavy contamination environments.
