Programmable color sensors

Southington, Conn.—Logipal family of color sensors is said to be highly accurate in detecting the finest color nuances in artificial and ambient light, and at high speeds. Available in two- or four-channel versions, teach-in adjustments are made using three buttons on the back of the sensor. Up to four colors can be taught by pressing a button, and up to five levels of tolerances can be set separately for each channel. Sensing distance is 40 mm, spot size is 3 x 5 mm, and the response time for color detection is 300 sec.
