Necedah, Wis.—Axxium TriStar is a double-conversion, three-phase uninterruptible power system (10-40 kVA), designed to protect factory automation systems, midrange computers, and other equipment and systems. The device’s modified input circuit reduces total input current harmonic distortion to less than 15%, saving the additional costs of harmonic filters and floor space. The advantage for the user is an operating efficiency as high as 94%, with an input power factor that can exceed 0.98. The units support a standard runtime using the internal batteries only. External battery cabinets are available for extended runtime capability. Other benefits include no-break protection, static by-pass switch, high-efficiency mode, high overload rating, and a regulated output frequency, as expected in typical double-conversion, three-phase products.Best Power
