Saratoga, Calif.—Multipoint power recorder is a nine channel monitoring instrument designed for permenant installation in switchgear, substations, utility, industrial, and commercial environments. This device measures ac voltage on four channels and ac currents on five channels. A wide range dc monitoring channel is available, as well as four channels for digital inputs. Built-in current transfomers provide convenient monitoring for current via standard 5-amp CT circuits. Ethernet connection and TCP/IP support are standard; multiple power recorders can communicate over networks, LANs/WANs, intranets, and the Internet. The recorder comes in a low-speed and a high-speed version. Both can measure power quality including sags, swells, transients, and flicker. They also track haromonics to the 63rd harmonic.
