NMW 2003: Lapp USA shows new pin-and-sleeve power connectors

The company adds that Epic’s Multimax connectors are designed to be assembled in less than 20 seconds, which can help reduce downtime and increase savings on installation.

Meanwhile, Lapp’s patented Ulysse interlocked switched socket outlets are prewired to save time and money. The outlets also have a double-protection rating that guarantees protection against violent jets of water and accidental immersion. Lapp adds that the aesthetic design and ergonomic profile of the Ulysse outlets sure easy, safe, and secure operation.

Epic connectors are available in both North American and international configurations. North American devices are available in 20, 30, 60 and 100 amps. International devices are available in 16, 32, 63 and 125 amps. Both configurations are available in spash-proof (IP44) and watertight (IP67) models. All of the North American products are UL 1682 and UL 1686 and CSA listed. All products comply with IEC 60309 and carry the CE mark.
