New 600-W switch-mode 1U power supply

Taiyo Yuden (U.S.A.) Inc. announced the AAD600S 1U-high switch-mode power supply. The device provides a single, isolated (floating) output of up to 600-W continuous power, correcting the input current waveform to better than 99% power factor at the supply’s full rated load.

The user may select several factory-set output voltages/currents, including 12 V/42 A, 15 V/36 A, 24 V/22 A, 28 V/20 A, 36 V/16 A, and 48 V/12.5 A. Providing operating efficiencies of up to 92%, standard features include remote sense, remote on/off, dcOK, single wire current share, and power fail signal. Several connector choices can provide “hot swap” capability.
