UL489 ac and dc miniature molded case circuit breakers from Altech are suitable for a wide range of applications, including low inrush motors, appliances, lighting, wiring protection, transformers, power supplies, and industrial controls. Ratings for ac breaker versions are 32 A at 480 Y/277 V ac and up to 63 A at 240 V ac. A dc version offers ratings of 125 V (1 pole) and 250 V (2 pole) up to 63 A. UL 489 breakers enable service entrance, feeder, or branch circuit protection and disconnect functions. Compact devices are 17.5 mm and incorporate 1, 2, or 3 poles (standard), and 4-pole models. They are designed for DIN-rail mounting and feature positive trip indicator (green/red) and short-circuit interrupt (capacity 10 kA). All are CE certified and RoHS compliant.
