ANSI and ISO/DIN flanged connections contain EPDM (ethylene propylene) or FPM (fluorine rubber—Viton) seals which eliminate the need for additional flange gaskets. The valve’s thin disk is said to allow excellent flow characteristics, and corrosion-resistant Rilsan coating on housing and disk protects against rain and salt air environments.
