Measure fillers and additives in polymers
Hockessin, Del.—The "Percptor" in-line dielectric analyzer features a ring-shaped ceramic sensor with plated metal electrodes. The sensor is clamped between gaskets in a housing and then bolted to extruders or other plastic processing machines. When polymers or process materials flow throught the sensors, electric fields are applied by external electronics to measure the materials.

The instrument can measure filler levels in compounded materials as well as residual solvent and additive levels in polymers.
