仪器readout: Bargraph display conveys data at a glance

The LPB provides local readout from a 4-20 mA signal and can trigger user-set alarms.

In some situations, an analog display that indicates a percentage of a total value is more useful than a numerical representation of the same value. When you want just such an analog display, the LPB (loop powered bargraph) fromOtekprovides a 51 segment display with single or multicolors.

The circular arrangement of the display segments provides a familiar appearance for users that makes information easy to see and compare visually, particularly when used in groups. With 51 segments, each represents 2% of the total value for precise value indications even without digits. The LPB is loop powered and only puts a 4.5 V burden on the circuit, allowing multiple displays on one loop if required. Values can be scaled within 30% of the factory setting using pots mounted on the front panel.

Four grades are available, including industrial, Mil-spec, nuclear, and intrinsically safe. All carry a lifetime warranty.
