Warminster, Pa.- Cooling and heating of enclosures in Class I, Div. 2, Groups A-D hazardous environments can now be done safely using EIC’s thermoelectric air conditioners, which have been tested to meet UL Standards 1604 and 1995, when installed in a purged enclosure. Two models are available: 800 and 1,500 Btu cooling capacity. Both units have internal regulation and are said to perform well at 110 to 130 V or 200 to 250 V supply. This is especially significant to users where ‘brownout’/low voltage conditions cause systems to malfunction and fail. The units can provide both cooling and heating functions to meet seasonal requirement. www.electografics.com Electrographics International Corp.
