Grade 1 automotive F-RAM memory devices

Ramtron International Corp. has added a 4K F-RAM (ferroelectric random access memory) device to its Grade 1 AEC-Q100-qualified automotive product line, increasing its number of +125 °C parts to five. The FM25040A-GA, a 4Kb, 5 V F-RAM with a high-speed serial peripheral interface (SPI), is specified to operate at +125 °C and is guaranteed to retain data for 9,000 hours at that temperature. It is suitable for advanced powertrain systems and offers fast writes, excellent endurance, and low power.and lower operating currents. It reads and writes at bus speeds up to 14MHz, boasts a 10uA standby current, and includes an advanced write protection scheme to prevent inadvertent writes and data corruption
