DataLogic Dragon D151 XLR barcode reader includes a CD with basic application parameter settings, installation information, and system software configuration, to ease setup.

DatalogicDragon D151 XLR hand-held barcode readerfor industrial applications is said to have an extra long range scan engine, from 10 cm (EAN) to 10 m (reflective codes). A RS-232 interface guarantees connectivity with most terminals. It can be powered by the connected device. The Dragon can resist 2-m drops and operates in temperatures from -30 to 50 °C.Rockwell Automationcustomer-defined,definite-purpose enclosures定价30 - 40%低于同类产品,the company says. Users also save considerable installation time due to the enclosure’s mounting grid, which acts like a pegboard for mounting the enclosures on machinery.

Sizes for a new line of Allen-Bradley definite-purpose control enclosures from Rockwell Automation range from smaller than a brick to a little bigger than a breadbox.

Based on feedback from OEMs, contractors and end-users in various industries, the enclosure’s mounting grid design eliminates drilling and reduces installation time, says Rockwell Automation. Included are Allen-Bradley Bulletin 598 general-purpose enclosures in 11 sizes; Bulletin 598 junction-box enclosures, in six sizes; and Bulletin 800H push-button enclosures, which extend the current line of 800T/800H push-button enclosures.

Sato America Inc. unveilsWeb-enabled GTe Series barcode printer, available as direct thermal or thermal transfer. GTe is the most intelligent printer in its class. Sato Embedded Basic Language (SEMBL) offers users the flexibility to create and load customized stand-alone programs into the printer. With SEMBL, the GTe can interface with external devices such as a keyboards, barcode scanners, scales, or input/output modules directly, as well as process received data in standalone mode, without any connection to an external PC.

Strongarm mounting and enclosure combinations, shown in NEMA 4/12 painted aluminum, also come in NEMA 4X stainless steel.

Print speed is 12-in. per second at 305 dpi; an “automatic detection system” notices any printhead change. This provides users the option of selecting and changing print resolution, based on needs and requirements. Printheads are available in 203 dpi, 305 dpi, and 609 dpi; the last is best for smaller size 2-D codes, such as Micro PDF417, Maxicode, and Datamatrix. WPC Plus (Web-based Printer Control Plus) allows control via any Web-enabled wired or wireless device. Optional are a serial communication module, parallel communication module, USB connectivity, and Wire/Wireless LAN (802.11b) support.Strongarm’smounting and enclosure combinations在NEMA 4/12涂铝或NEMA,可用4X stainless steel, are designed to terminal specifications, including the cut-out, cable space, drive access, and cooling requirements. Enclosures are specially reinforced for pendant arm mounting to ensure solid, wobble-free operation.

Units have three levels of vertical travel (13, 23, and 30 in.). It can incorporate an internal, local, or remote PC (such as Strongarm’s Internal MicroBox PCs). Multiple keyboard and pointer selections include Strongarm’s Stainless Steel Mouse. It has a feature panel for easy pushbutton additions, and can be mounted on post, machine top, wall, and ceiling. Horizontal and vertical extensions are available.
