Avocent purchase augments Emerson Network Power’s data center management

Emerson Network Power's Avocent acquisition strengthened its data center infrastructure management portfolio.

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR) and provider ofwork Power’s infrastructure management capabilities and ultimately giving data center managers better control of energy consumption, IT operations and costs, Emerson said.
