Angle seat valves to control liquid and gas flow

ATO Angle Seat Valves August 10, 2023

ATO angle seat valves are fluid control devices used to control the flow of liquids or gases. It’s named from the angled design, in which an angle, usually 90 degrees, is formed between the valve body and the direction of fluid flow. This design allows angle seat valves to control fluids with a high degree of accuracy and stability. Currently, there are 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1-1/2 inch, 1-1/4 inch, 2 inch, 2-1/2 inch, 3 inch and 4 inch thread port pneumatic angle seat valves to choose from.

Angle seat valves work like regular valves, but are designed to provide better performance in certain situations. The main components ofpneumatic angle seat valvesinclude the valve body, spool, seals and actuator. The spool is usually a cylindrical part with a sealing surface that can be moved up and down by an actuating device (such as a manually operated lever, an electric or pneumatic actuator, etc.) to control the path of the fluid.
