Wonderware targets application set to regulated industries

Wonderware Strategic Integration Group (WSIG), a business unit of Invensys Systems Inc., now offers a set of applications combining Wonderware technology built on the ArchestrA software architecture and Microsoft Windows Server System products to assist with tracking and tracing operations for pharmaceutical and other government-regulated industries.

Wonderware Strategic Integration Group(WSIG), a business unit of Invensys Systems Inc., now offers a set of applications combining Wonderware technology built on theArchestrAsoftware architecture and Microsoft Windows Server System products to assist with tracking and tracing operations for pharmaceutical and other government-regulated industries.

The solutions combine a variety of Wonderware and Microsoft applications, including Industrial Application Server built on ArchestrA for automation and information architecture and Microsoft BizTalk 2004 for business and manufacturing systems integration. Other featured Wonderware applications include InTrack for manufacturing resource management, InBatch for recipe execution enforcement, IndustrialSQL Server for real-time information management, QI Analyst for online statistical analysis, and DT Analyst for production and packaging line efficiency.

WSIG’s solutions include:

  • Formulation and Filling Application. A pre-packaged set of GAMP-ready (“good automated manufacturing practice”) engineering documents and Wonderware technology to accelerate the delivery and qualification of batching solutions for product manufacturing;

  • Pre-weigh Application. An integrated browser-based application delivering repeatable and accurate weighing of raw materials and ingredients as intermediate goods prior to batching operations;

  • Paper-On-Glass Application. Replaces current paper-based systems by automating the enforcement of manufacturing procedures and the maintenance of manufacturing records for manual, semi-automated, and automated processes;

  • Electronic Batch Record/Report Application. Combines product and process information offering an approval-ready report for quality-assurance and quality-control personnel;

  • ISA S95 Enterprise Application Integration Application. An ISA S95 compliant set of transactions integrating business planning processes and manufacturing execution status and performance. ISA S95 standard provides recommended ways to organize and integrate control systems to other enterprise systems;

  • Online Statistical Process Control Application. Provides context alarming for analyzing a process so actions can be taken to improve the quality and consistency of a product;

  • Event Resolution Application. Manages abnormal situations by generating ticket errors or deviation inquiry request to capture and document the resolution process;

  • Material Management Application. Enables organizations to leverage best practices through manufacturing execution systems and plant intelligence applications during product manufacturing.
