New pressure sensor family from鲍默使用冷却dissi颈部扩展来提供热量pation and protect electronic components. The ED701 products can operate with high media temperatures of up to 300 °C (575 °F). Baumer says this protects the device when used in processes that require sterilization, including pharmaceutical, chemical, and food & beverage industries as well as medical technology. With that in mind, it is available with several sanitary and industrial process connections.

Multiple configurations are available depending on application specifics. The basic unit, without a cooling neck, is suitable up to 150 °C. Adding the standard cooling neck extends that to 200 °C, and a longer cooling neck for up to 300 °C. With built-in active compensation for temperature drifts, the ED701 has a measuring accuracy up to 0.1% full scale. This combines with 0.1% per year long-term stability and excellent repeatability. If required, the zero point can be recalibrated using a simple mechanical adjustment.

鲍默offers a range of process connections and several output signal options, including 4-20 mA, 0-10 Vdc, and 0-5 Vdc. Standard construction is stainless steel, but for use with aggressive media it can be provided with a pressure connection in Hastelloy C. For hazardous area applications, several ATEX versions are available.
