Dr. Mitsuhiro Iga

Dr. Mitsuhiro Iga is the CEO of Yokogawa Bio Frontier Inc. He started his career at Yokogawa doing R&D work for near-infrared spectroscopic polychromators, spectral imaging equipment, and propagated and localized surface plasmon resonance based optical fiber sensors in the company’s Advanced Technology Research Institute. In 2012, he transferred to the Health Engineering Research Department of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology as a joint researcher on research and technological development of surface-enhanced Raman scattering sensing and its application for real-time living cell monitoring, where since 2018, he's been focusing on bio- and biomass material related technologies. Iga holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Soka University.
