She has helped more than 10 top companies in Mexico to successfully enter to the fourth industrial revolution. Alicia develops patents for new processes to save water and energy produced within the Mexican industry.

Achievements, Advancement & Career-related Industry Contributions

  • In 2010, Alicia became the first certified engineer in Mexico to use the Siemens distributed control system, PCS7. Four years later, Alicia won an award for the most successfully executed projects using this system.
  • In 2016, Alicia built the first 100% automated plant in Mexico with connection to an industrial cloud.
  • Alicia automated the world’s first plate filters in 2017 and was recognized for this achievement globally.
  • In 2019, Alicia built the first 4.0 plant in Mexico. She connected the plant to a system that analyzes the data in real time and generates strategies to improve the process.
  • In 2020, Alicia spoke publicly on digital transformation and was recognized as a successful woman in Industry 4.0.
  • Alicia won second place in LATAM digital leaders for Globant Awards in 2021.
  • Most recently, Alicia became part of the 5G deployment committee in Mexico.

Alicia is a marathon runner and cyclist. She likes to read books about technology and science, and she loves Rubik’s cubes.
