Best Power releases new double-conversion, three-phase UPS
Necedah, Wis.- Best Power recently introduced its Axxium TriStar, a new double-conversion, three-phase uninterruptible power system (10-40 kVA), designed to protect factory automation systems, midrange computers, and other equipment and systems. Called the industry leading UPS for energy efficiency and power factor correction, it also has 'premium communication options, compact footprint, and easy mobility,' the company says. The modified input circuit reduces total input current harmonic distortion to less than 15%, saving the additional costs of harmonic filters and floor space. The advantage for the user is an operating efficiency as high as 94%, with an input power factor that can exceed 0.98.
